The Phoenix Big Band came into being in 2009 when eight seasoned musicians hailing from Barbados, England, Silesia, Romania, USA and across Canada came together in Ottawa. They blend influences from Blues, Jazz, Fusion, Funk, Rock, Latin and Reggae into their original music.
